KATSEYE Sydney 2027: Are Qudos Bank Arena Tickets Valid at Afterpay Arena?

An unbranded concert stage under blue and warm white lights.

Yes. A genuine, valid KATSEYE Sydney ticket does not become invalid because it names Qudos Bank Arena. Afterpay Arena is the same venue under a new name. The rename itself requires no exchange; check your booking through Ticketek if the date, seat or ticket access is unclear.

Two Names, One Sydney Venue

Qudos Bank Arena became Afterpay Arena on 23 July 2026. The venue’s post-launch naming FAQ says existing printed tickets bearing the former name remain valid and describes digital tickets updating to the new branding. No action is needed solely because of the rename.

For KATSEYE, the practical consequence is simple: seeing the older name in a search result does not mean the concert has moved. It also does not prove that a particular ticket or resale offer is genuine. Treat the venue name and the booking’s validity as separate checks.

The official destination is still Sydney Olympic Park. Save the venue’s current name with your booking details, so someone travelling with you can recognise either name without looking for a second arena.

Match the Date Before Changing Anything

The Ticketek Australia KATSEYE listing currently shows Sunday 28 February and Monday 1 March 2027 at Afterpay Arena in Sydney, New South Wales. The page also explicitly states that the venue transition does not affect scheduled events or tickets.

Two Sydney dates mean a matching artist and venue are not enough. Read the date on your own order before organising transport or agreeing to meet friends. Someone attending on Sunday has a different booking from someone attending on Monday, even though both may describe their plans as “KATSEYE at Qudos”.

Check Your Booking Through the Official Seller

Ticketek lists the Ticketek App, confirmation email and website order history as ways to access tickets for these shows. Start with the account or confirmation associated with your purchase, rather than a link in an unsolicited message.

Read the event title, performance date and any seating details together. If a friend bought the tickets, ask that person to check the original order. A cropped image can leave out the detail needed to resolve a disagreement; keep the complete booking available when asking for help.

For a missing ticket, unexplained mismatch or delivery question, use Ticketek’s official help centre. Describe the problem precisely: for example, “my order shows Monday but the image I received says Sunday”. Keep order numbers and scannable codes private when posting publicly.

Do not buy a replacement simply because two pages use different arena names. First establish whether there is an actual problem with the booking. This guide explains the name change; only the relevant ticketing provider can investigate your particular order.

Recheck Event Instructions Before Travelling

The arena’s KATSEYE event page gives the address as 19 Edwin Flack Avenue, Sydney Olympic Park. It advises allowing extra travel and security-screening time, and directs public-transport users to Transport for NSW for travel advice.

There is one detail worth confirming before packing. Ticketek currently states a 15 × 20 cm bag limit, while the venue event page gives an A4 limit of 30 × 20 cm. Both exclude backpacks. Ask Ticketek or the arena which limit applies to your performance; neither page justifies assuming the larger bag will be accepted.

Keep city-specific instructions together. Information for a Melbourne performance, another country or an older concert should not override the current Sydney booking. Check again close to the show, especially if you saved an announcement months earlier.

Other Questions About the Sydney Tickets

Is Afterpay Arena the same as Qudos?

Yes. The name changed on 23 July 2026. Both names refer to the same Sydney Olympic Park arena.

Do I need a new ticket with the Afterpay Arena name?

The rename alone does not require an exchange. Contact Ticketek if your concern involves the actual booking, its date or access to the ticket.

Does an old venue name prove a resale ticket is real?

No. A venue label cannot establish who owns a ticket or whether it can be used. Check the seller’s process and the booking through the appropriate official channels before committing to a purchase.

Are tickets still available, and what do they cost?

Check the current Ticketek listing when you are ready to book. This guide does not promise availability or quote a price that may change.
